City of Seattle recently issued the following announcement
Event: Christmas Tree Sales at El Centro de la Raza
When: November 25, 2020
El Centro de la Raza is selling Christmas trees from November 22 through December 20 or while supplies last. We are pleased to be able to safely offer high quality, locally sourced fresh Christmas trees for purchase once again. Proceeds benefit our vital programs and services, which have sustained thousands of vulnerable individuals throughout the ongoing COVID-19 crisis.
When you purchase a Christmas tree from El Centro de la Raza, you are also supporting small business owners of color Adrian and Evencio Gonzales. They are two brothers who supply, own, and operate in Onalaska, Washington.
In order to ensure the safety of our staff and patrons, we are making some adjustments this year in compliance with local public health mandates: All guests and staff are expected to wear masks, sanitize hands before/after the exchange of goods. We will also be making efforts to minimize interactions between patrons and staff. For more information please visit our website -Link provided below-

This also is part of El Centro de la Raza efforts to minimize interaction between our staff and patrons—to keep everyone safe and well this holiday season. You can purchase and pick up your tree at our Christmas Tree Lot located on the north side of the building located at 2524 16th Ave South.

This event helps El Centro de la Raza raise funds to support our human services and community-building programs that benefit 21,000+ vulnerable and underrepresented children, adults, and families annually. By purchasing a Christmas tree from us, you are directly contributing to our community while supporting El Centro de la Raza in providing 43 high-quality services and programs. If your home does not need a Christmas tree this season, consider purchasing one to donate to the home of a low-income family.
