Seattle residents will now have access to Ideal Option's evidence-based substance addiction treatment at Compass Housing Alliance.

"We created a satellite service model to help people get needed substance use disorder treatment when and where it is most convenient and comfortable for them," Ideal Option CEO Tim Kilgallon said in a release in late February.

Ideal Option's treatment for addiction to alcohol, opioids, meth and other substances will be provided inside Compass' Day Center.

The service will be available on-demand to individuals who use the Day Center and those living in Compass' transitional and permanent supportive housing.

"Treatment for substance use disorder is often an important part of the process that unlocks the ability for people to get off the streets and enter stable housing, seek employment, and rebuild relationships in their life," Teena Ellison, director of Housing Services at Compass Housing Alliance, said in the release.
