Rep. Pramila Jayapal, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Washington's 7th district, has been vocal on social media regarding several issues of national importance. Her recent tweets highlight concerns about employment for veterans, an upcoming online event, and criticisms of the current administration's policies.

On February 19, 2025, Rep. Jayapal expressed concern over employment for veterans, stating that "30% of all federal employees are veterans." She criticized former President Trump and Elon Musk for "ripping hundreds of thousands of jobs away from those who have served our country."

Later that day, she announced an upcoming event on Instagram: "Coming up in just under an hour!" She invited followers to join her alongside @RepBonnie and @WTFshow2025.

In another tweet posted shortly after, Rep. Jayapal addressed what she perceives as harmful policies by the administration concerning diversity: "Very disappointing." She described these actions as "false and destructive to communities" and urged people to resist the "anti-DEI narrative."
