Rep. Pramila Jayapal, a U.S. Congress member representing Washington’s 7th district, has shared several tweets addressing various political issues and events. Her statements focus on the Trump administration's policies, environmental regulations, and actions by educational institutions.

On March 23, 2025, Rep. Jayapal emphasized the interconnectedness of struggles against the Trump administration. She highlighted her efforts by stating: "As we work to fight back against the Trump administration, it is important to remember our struggles are all intertwined." Jayapal also mentioned organizing an Immigrant Labor Roundtable with local leaders to strategize under the current administration.

Later that day, she tweeted about environmental concerns regarding the Clean Air Act. She pointed out attempts by certain figures to weaken environmental protections: "ICYMI: The Clean Air Act lets EPA regulate things like power plants to keep the air we breathe clean." Jayapal criticized efforts by former President Trump and others to dismantle the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

On March 24, 2025, Rep. Jayapal expressed her disappointment in Columbia University's decision regarding free speech issues: "This is a dangerous and deeply disappointing capitulation from Columbia University." She warned that such actions could lead to further erosion of democratic principles if other universities follow suit.
