Rep. Pramila Jayapal, a U.S. Congress member representing Washington's 7th district since 2017, has been active on social media, sharing her thoughts on various issues. On March 24, 2025, she expressed her enthusiasm for participating in Seattle’s inaugural Indian Film Festival at the Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP). "I was delighted to join Seattle’s inaugural Indian Film Festival at @MoPOP! Representation matters — on screen, in books, in leadership roles, and in government. This was a fantastic event to build more awareness of the creativity and contributions of Indian diaspora artists!"

On March 25, 2025, Rep. Jayapal criticized an incident involving former President Trump's National Security Adviser. She described it as "staggering" and "dangerous," highlighting that "Trump's National Security Adviser sets up a group chat with the Vice President, Secretary of State, Director of National Intelligence, & more to discuss military secrets and war plans."

Later that day, she addressed environmental concerns regarding climate change studies under the Trump administration. Rep. Jayapal stated that "Climate change is bad for our health. Trump doesn’t want people to know that, so he’s canceling the studies (which have consistently proven that). All to sell out our communities to the highest Big Oil bidder."
