The One-Day Festival includes Music, Art, Food, and more on Saturday, June 24 at Seattle Center
SEATTLE – Seattle Center Festál continues with the 17th annual Seattle Iranian Festival on Saturday, June 24, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Seattle Center Armory Food & Event Hall. In collaboration with local Iranian organizations, this free festival will celebrate the Persian language, music, the arts, literature, and food. Be inspired by the ancient Persian and Iranian cultures and find inspiration through cultural resilience.
The festival program is a full day of activities, performances, and discussions for all ages. Guests can partake in art exhibits, live art demos, Persian poetry, traditional and modern music while sipping on Persian tea and trying cultural foods and pastries. Shop at the Bazaar made up of arts, crafts, and jewelry from local vendors. With children’s activities, presentations, and dance performances, the festival invites Iranians, and non-Iranians to come and celebrate the culture together under one roof.
The Seattle Iranian Festival invites guests to come to be a part of the community with others to celebrate the unity of the culture. Despite the changing of seasons and empires, this culture has endured, and it continues to persevere and create connections for Iranian Americans in the diaspora and the many friends who enjoy the sights, sounds, and smells of Iran.
