Rep. Pramila Jayapal, a U.S. Congresswoman representing Washington’s 7th district, has been vocal on various issues through her recent tweets. Her posts address topics ranging from data privacy to mental health and progressive advocacy.

On December 8, 2024, Rep. Jayapal expressed her concerns about data brokers selling sensitive information without restrictions. She stated, "Data brokers shouldn’t be able to sell your sensitive information without any limits, period." She commended the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) for its efforts in addressing this issue but emphasized the need for congressional action by advocating for the passage of her bipartisan Fourth Amendment is Not For Sale Act.

Later that day, she highlighted the importance of mental and behavioral health care. In her tweet from December 8, 2024, she mentioned being proud to represent a county dedicated to these matters: "Prioritizing mental and behavioral health care is crucial, and I am proud to represent a county that is so dedicated to tackling these issues head on."

On December 9, 2024, Rep. Jayapal reflected on the long-standing efforts of the US Progressives in fighting for justice and equality. She noted their advocacy for poor and working families against large corporations: "For decades, @USProgressives have always been on the frontlines of the fight for justice — advocating for poor and working families, standing up to big corporations, and pushing for equality at every turn." She reaffirmed their commitment to continue these efforts.
