Rep. Pramila Jayapal, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Washington's 7th district since 2017, recently took to social media to address various topics of public interest. Her posts reflect her active engagement in current political and social issues.

On March 8, 2025, Rep. Jayapal shared insights from a recent immigration roundtable she hosted with local leaders. She stated, "I recently hosted an immigration roundtable with local leaders on the frontlines of fighting for immigrants’ rights. It was powerful to come together & strategize about how we protect immigrants in this incredibly difficult moment for so many." She expressed optimism by concluding that "we will get through this together."

Later that day, Rep. Jayapal celebrated International Women's Day by acknowledging the contributions of women globally. She tweeted, "Happy International Women’s Day! Today and every day, let us recognize the work, strength, and leadership of women across the globe."

She commented, "So Trump and Elon Musk want to go after waste, fraud, and abuse in the federal government." Suggesting a starting point for such efforts, she pointed out that "the Department of Defense — the only agency which has NEVER passed a successful audit."
