NOTICE TO CONSULTANTS

Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for

________________________________________________

On-Call Environmental Engineering Services

SPU RFQ/Contract# 23-105-S

The City of Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) is requesting qualifications from qualified consultants to provide expertise in Environmental Engineering Services to fill in technical expertise gaps on projects, perform peer reviews of environmental services, or to meet project schedule requirements during peak workload periods.

SPU will select one (1) qualified Consultant for a four (4) year On-Call term with the option to extend for an additional one (1) year – five (5) years maximum. This contract will be awarded with an estimated $450,000. The Work will be issued by way of Work Assignments (WA). SPU does not guarantee any minimum quantity of Work under this Contract.

The deadline for submitting Qualifications is 5:00 PM Pacific Time on Monday, July 17, 2023, electronic submittals are to be uploaded to the City’s Procurement Portal: https://cityofseattle.bonfirehub.com/portal.

SPU PRE-SUBMITTAL CONFERENCE:  An optional pre-submittal conference will be held on Monday, July 10, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Pacific Time, via MS Teams Meeting ID: 261 268 104 426, meeting password: RDtmyt at URL:

Or join by phone: +1-206-686-8357; 810 992 30#. SPU will review the scope of work, consultant expectations, and answer questions from the prospective bidders. Although attendance at this meeting is not mandatory, attendance is highly encouraged.

Submitters may submit questions to the procurement portal (Bonfire) under the Vendor Discussions section. The City strongly prefers that consultants submit questions in Bonfire, but will accept questions submitted to the Contract Administrator in email format, as well. Questions shall be directed to Jamie Cortez, Contract Administrator & SPU’s designated contact person, at jamie.cortez@seattle.gov  To facilitate preparation of responses to questions, please submit questions by no later than 5:00 PM Pacific Time on Wednesday, July 12, 2023. All responses to questions will be posted at https://cityofseattle.bonfirehub.com/portal under the Public Notices Section in the respective procurement opportunity.
